Bei Jodel sind wir mehr als eine Social-Media-App. Du kannst in sekundenschnelle sehen, was die spannendsten und lustigsten Themen der Stadt sind, Bilder und Videos teilen oder Infos zu Events und Veranstaltungen sammeln. Immer mehr Jodel Nutzer:innen verabreden sich im echten Leben nachdem sie sich auf Jodel über gemeinsame Interessen, Hobbies oder aktuelle News ausgetauscht haben. Mittlerweile nutzen über 7 Mio. Menschen Jodel – vor allem in DACH, Skandinavien und MENA.

Deine Mission

Arbeite mit spannenden Unternehmen zusammen und sorge dafür, dass Jodel Teil jedes großen Mediaplans ist.

Media Sales Verantwortung - für unsere Arbeit mit einem oder mehreren der großen Medianetzwerke (GroupM, OMG, Serviceplan, IPG, etc.).
Strategien entwickeln - für dein Mediennetzwerk. Dabei baust du Accounts von einer ersten Kampagne zu einem Key Account aus, der sich einen digitalen Mediaplan ohne Jodel nicht mehr vorstellen kann. Deine Kunden persönlich zu treffen, gehört dabei für dich dazu.
Beziehungsmanagement betreiben - indem Du unseren Kunden dabei hilfst, herauszufinden, welche ihrer Kampagnen gut zu Jodel passen, und du begleitest sie, um eine vertrauensvolle Beziehung aufzubauen.
Teamwork - gemeinsam mit deinen Kunden entwickelst du erstklassige Konzepte, um sicherzustellen, dass wir ein einzigartiges Werbeerlebnis schaffen – sowohl für unsere Kunden als auch für unsere Nutzer. Dabei arbeitest du eng mit unserem Campaign Management Team zusammen.

Was du mitbringst, um erfolgreich zu sein

Beziehungen mit Kunden aufzubauen fällt dir leicht und du wirst als vertrauenswürdiger Experte wahrgenommen.
In der Welt der Mediaagenturen bist du vernetzt oder hast selbst in einem der Media-Netzwerke gearbeitet.
Wenn du bereits in der Medienvermarktung tätig warst, bringst du mindestens zwei Jahre Erfahrung mit und hast deinen eigenen Stil sowie eine klare Vorstellung davon, wie du den Sales gestalten würdest.
Falls du zuvor in einem Agenturnetzwerk intern gearbeitet hast, verfügst du über mindestens zwei Jahre Erfahrung im direkten Austausch.
Verständnis über die digitale Werbelandschaft und Ziele sowie die KPIs unserer Kunden.
Das große Ganze hast du immer im Blick und bist nicht daran interessiert, Verkäufe um jeden Preis zu machen. Vertrauen und Beziehungen aufbauen ist dir wichtig, so dass deine Kunden dir vertrauen und langfristige Beziehungen mit dir aufbauen wollen.
Sprachlich kannst du auf Deutsch verhandlungssicher mit Kunden kommunizieren.

Why we need you

We want to grow our Sales Department to show the world what truly social advertising can look like!

We want to get more specialized in our sales department. One of the steps we're taking is to move forward with our Media Agency Sales. Therefore, we're looking for sales professionals who bring experience in the world of Media Agency Sales and can help to put Jodel on their radar.

Your Mission

Exciting clients to work with Jodel and make sure we're part of every big media plan.
You're responsible for our work with one or more of the big Media Networks (GroupM, OMG, Serviceplan, IPG, etc.).
Developing a strategy for your Media Network. This way you grow Accounts from a first campaign to a Key Account that can't imagine a digital media plan without Jodel.
Helping our clients to define which of their campaigns are a good fit for Jodel and taking them by the hand to start a relationship build on trust.
Creating top-notch concepts with and for your clients to make sure we create a unique advertising experience for our clients - and with this also for our users. To then execute this you're working closely together with our Campaign Management Team.

What you need to succeed

A relationship builder who is seen as a trustworthy expert by our clients.
You're well connected in the world of media agencies or have worked in one of the big networks yourself.
If you worked in Media Sales before, you have experience (2+ Years) and have your own style and idea of how to do sales OR,
If you worked in an agency network before you have experience (2+ Years) in exchange with your clients.
You understand the digital advertising landscape, and the goals, and KPIs that our clients have.
You always have the big picture in mind and do not make a sale at every price. It is important to you that your clients can truly trust you and want to build a long-term relationship with you.
You're creative and excited about the idea to be part of a team that puts Jodel on the Advertising Landscape.
You speak and write german language on a business fluent level.

About us

Jodel was launched in 2014. The idea of Jodel started, when we realised that despite countless products in tech, there was no fast and simple way to connect with people around us.
You will be able to fully explore the city you live in, listen in on all its vibrant communities and connect with your peers. No matter if it’s other pet lovers nearby or the local techno crowd: Jodel allows you to share memes and jokes, get news, ask questions and simply have fun.
