Your Mission
  • You lead our ad monetization efforts - in particular that includes the IO media sales and programmatic sales.
  • Our media sales mission is to make sure we’re part of every relevant media plan and are able to successfully work with our clients and grow the business especially in Germany, Finland and Saudi Arabia.
  • You manage E2E, against profits and take P&L responsibility for the department.
  • For this you’re managing various teams (B2B Marketing, Sales, Campaign Management, Ad Operations) with currently 13 FTE while ensuring these teams work collaboratively towards our goals.
  • Next to managing operations you are responsible for the monetization tactics/ strategy and for it to be in line with the company OKR´s.
  • You further develop our brand and HR products together with the team and roll them out accordingly.
  • In your work, you make sure that every team member benefits from your experience in order to develop and retain talent.
What you need to succeed
  1. You already have leadership experience as a Head of/ Lead and are looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced environment. You aim to establish/ maintain a high performing team culture and never hesitate to work hands on. 
  2. You have basic to high domain expertise in the different team fields (B2B Marketing, Sales, Campaign Management, Ad Operations); you are capable of switching context, providing input and analytics to various commercial topics with the intent to develop an overarching monetization strategy.
  3. You are entrepreneurial as well as experienced in sales - ideally in the advertisement/ media  business.

About us
Jodel was launched in 2014. The idea of Jodel started, when we realised that despite countless products in tech, there was no fast and simple way to connect with people around us.
